Implementation of the Project

The project is based on the non-traditional teaching/learning methodology when all the activities are student - centered and organized as collaborative learning(teaching) with peers.

Each partner - all the 5 schools - will be responsible for the topic (the project part) chosen and all the activities related that topic.

The activities mentioned below will be carried out by each school with their grant for the "Project Management and Implementation".

1. The Bulgarian school will prepare questions/tasks about the sport. The project participants in Greek, Polish, Lithuanian, and Turkish schools will fulfill those tasks. The materials will be collected and presented to their peers of all the participant schools by IT tools :

- sports history of each country;(A1)

- traditional outdoor and indoor games; (A2)

- the most famous sport teams and athletes of each country ( events at each school with the famous sports people). (A3)

The Bulgarian school is responsible for creating DVD "Our game created" (O1) and learning teaching activities in their school (C5).

2.The Greek school will prepare the tasks related local history. The participants will fulfill the tasks on:

- the important historical events of each country; (A9)

- the most famous historic personalities of each country;(A10)

- the outstanding historic monuments of the participant countries. (A11, A12)

During the tasks' completion, the project participants will visit national historic museums of their countries and collect the information necessary. The events at school - meetings( non-traditional learning events) with historians will be organized.

The Greek school is responsible for the video "Talking Monuments" (O3) and learning/teaching activities in Rhodes ( C 1).

3. The Polish school will prepare the tasks for the part " "Natural beauty of our countries". The participants will fulfill the tasks on:

- the climate of our countries; (A5)

- flora and fauna of the countries; (A6)

- the geographical legends; (A7)

- the outstanding natural landmarks of our countries; (A7)

The events related these tasks ( visits to national parks, national museums of nature, meteorologic stations, meetings with naturalists) will be organized at each school in order to complete the tasks prepared by the Polish partners.

The Polish school is responsible for editing the CD " "Outstanding Creations of Nature in Our countries" (O2) and learning/teachingactivities in their school ( C4).

4. The Lithuanian school will prepare the tasks for the project topic "Our folklore and customs" . The tasks on:

- traditional seasonal(4 seasons of the year) customs of each country with folk songs and dances included;

- traditional costumes of our countries (A21, A22);

The events for the tasks: visiting national custom museums, meetings with persons able to present and teach some songs/dances ( national/ local traditional folk groups or bands.

The Lithuanian school is responsible for editing the DVD "In Songs and Dances We Are United" (O5) and learning/teaching activities in Kulupenai (C2)

5. The Turkish school will prepare the tasks for the topic "Our traditional cuisines":

- the history (the stories) of our food (A14);

- presentation ceremonies of our traditional food (A15);

- healthy eating habits in our traditional cuisines; (A16)

- the effect of geographical location on our countries' food; (A17)

In order to complete these tasks, the events related the topic will be organized in each school

( interviews with professionals - food heritage specialists, nutritionists; visits to the institutions supporting and cultivating the traditional food examples).

The project team of each school will organize the groups of students to prepare and fulfill the tasks when working in teams, caring surveys, collecting and distributing the information, taking decisions, presenting the results to their peers of all the partner schools.
